My (28m) husband John (26m) has been spending every waking second with his ex-boyfriend Bob without telling me. Every day since Monday night (it’s now Friday) John has been hanging out with Bob and Bob’s friends. John hasn’t asked me how I feel about him being gone all night, he hasn’t even told me he would be gone all night. Monday night I stayed up waiting for him to come home and he never did. Tuesday when I came home from work I asked if I’d see him tomorrow. He says he was going to say bye to me but the door was locked. But, Bob was still in the house so I locked the door while I showered to get ready for work. This would have been the only face to face interaction we would have had that day. But I guess I missed my chance to see him.

Wednesday I told him that I was having a problem with him being out all the time with Bob. He says he made himself available earlier this day. It was similar to Tuesday where I had to get ready for work. Him being “available” was him being home and awake while I was sleeping on Wednesday. He has said sorry for hanging out with Bob without notice. Why is he still going to bars, getting food, hanging out with his friends without notice and it’s Friday? I see his location so I know they don’t have some emergency that they have to take care of.

I’m struggling get sleep because my mind will spiral. I can’t find enjoyment in anything I usually do.
