As a woman, I lock the door when I’m home for my own safety. It’s as important as locking the door when I’m not home.

But I have a male roommate who constantly leaves the door unlocked. We live in an apartment complex that is not gated. I often wake up in the morning to find the door unlocked (even though I locked it behind me the last time I came home).

Honestly, it just makes me uneasy. Am I weird? Or is he careless?
